U11- U19 GK Training Camp 1

 

GK Summer Training 1

Dates:  June 28th – July 1st

Days: Monday – Thursday (Friday Make up)

Cost: $100

U15 – U19 Boys & Girls : 7:30am – 8:30am

 

U11 – 14 Boys & Girls: 8:30am – 9:30am

 

 

 

Description:

In this Summer Camp we will focus on developing proper Goalkeeper technique. Each night we will focus on a specific area of Goalkeeping from the WCWAA Goalkeeping Curriculum. We will cover all aspects of playing Goal keeper from Footwork, to Set position, and proper hand placement.

Dates: July 19th – July 22nd  

Days: Monday – Thursday (Friday Make up)

U15 – U19 Boys & Girls : 7:30am – 8:30am

 

U11 – 14 Boys & Girls: 8:30am – 9:30am

 

Description:

In this Summer Camp will continue to work on technique as covered in GK Training Camp 1 and apply it to more realistic GK situations. We will focus more on the shot stopping aspect of the position, and movement as it relates to game situations, as well as developing good habits, and developing quicker instincts on when to hold or perry a save, when to attack or hold ground in a 1v1 situation or when to come out and take crosses.

Goalkeeping Speed, Agility, and Strength Conditioning - GK Camp 
 

Dates:

Session 1 :  June 14th to June 17th (Monday - Thursday)
Session 2 :  July 26th to July 29th (Monday - Thursday)

If a make-up session is necessary, Friday evening will be utilized.

Cost: $ 65 per Session

Time: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

 

Description: WCWAA is offering a Speed, Agility, and Strength Camp for Goalkeeper Specific Conditioning. The objective of the camp is to work on goalkeeper specific conditioning that will enhance coordination, balance, and proper footwork. This is an area that all keepers should include in their off-season routine. Additionally, the goal is for all keepers to walk away from each session with a variety of exercises that can be completed individually to encourage initiative and self-responsibility.
