Winter Goal Keeper Training Program - 2022
(In conjunction with Winter 3v3PLUS GK)
 

Days: Mondays and Thursdays
Dates:  11/28, 12/1, 12/5, 12/8, 12/12, 12/15
Time: 5:45pm – 6:45pm GK Training; 6:45pm-8pm Games with 3v3PLUS Program.  Registration includes both sessions each night.
Location: Optimist Park
Age Groups:   U9 – U14 Boys and Girls

Open to Classic, Challenge, Select, Academy and Recreation Players

Cost: $95 per player

The Winter GK Training at WCWAA will give players the opportunity to train many aspects of being a goalkeeper.

Players will participate in 60 minutes of technical training each night followed by the chance to play in the goal for
3v3 games. 

Emphasis will be placed on technique, shot blocking, and distributing to teammates.  Players will be given time each night in the goal and in game situations.  Players will be encouraged to make decisions on their own in the goal, extend for saves out of their comfort zone and enjoy an environment that allows them to experiment with the ball without constant coaching from outside sources. 

Teams will be created each Thursday night based on age groups for mini-Tournaments.
