Winter 3v3 Training Programs
 

 

Location: Optimist Park
Age Group: U6 - U10 Boys and Girls
Open to Academy and Recreation Players
 
Cost: $95.  All players receive a long sleeve 3v3 shirt.

Description: The 3v3 Training Program at WCWAA will give players the opportunity to play and train in the exciting format of 3v3 soccer.  Players will participate in 20 minutes of technical training each night followed by 40 minutes of 3v3 games.  Emphasis will be placed on 3v3 as a tool to individual and team development.  Players will be given time each night on the ball and in game situations.  Players will be encouraged to take risks with the ball, make decisions on their own, and enjoy an environment that allows them to experiment with the ball without constant coaching from outside sources.  Teams will be created each Thursday night based on age groups for mini-Tournaments.

3v3PLUS GKs Training Program - 2022

Days: Mondays and Thursdays
Dates: 11/28, 12/1, 12/5, 12/8, 12/12, 12/15
Time: 6:45pm – 8:00pm
Location: Optimist Park
Age Groups:   U11 – U16 Boys and Girls
Open to Classic, Premier and Recreation Players


Cost: $95.  All players will receive a long sleeve 3v3 shirt.
               
Description: The 3v3PLUS GKs Training Program at WCWAA will give players the opportunity to play and train in the exciting format of 3v3 soccer while also providing the opportunity to strengthen finishing skills.  Players will participate in 15 minutes of technical training each night followed by 60 minutes of 3v3 games.  Small sided fields with Full Sized Goals and GoalKeepers will allow significant goal scoring opportunities each game.   Games will consist of 3 field players and one goalkeeper per team.  Emphasis will be placed on 3v3 as a tool to individual and team development and creating and capitalizing on goal scoring opportunities.  Players will be given time each night on the ball and in game situations.
